Newly promoted Italian Serie B side Frosinone are set to sign Ghana International Yussif Chibsah Raman permanently after a stellar season at the club.

The Canarini have opened up talks with Benevento for the signature of the 25-year-old.

Raman played on loan at the Italian side and was instrumental in helping them earn promotion to Serie A after beating Palermo 2-0 in a play-off.

Frosinone is happy with the output of the Ghanaian midfielder and following the player’s desire for a return to the top flight, they have started talks with his parent club over a potential permanent deal.

He became the first Ghanaian to qualify three teams to the Serie A.

He achieved the feat with US Sassoulo in 2013, Benevento in 2016 and Frosinone in 2018

Chibsah made 19 appearances and scored once for the Italian side.
