Gabriel Jesus plans on Man City return this season

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus is planning to play again this season.

The Brazilian, who briefly set the Premier League alight in January and February, is currently sidelined with a broken metatarsal sustained mid last month.

It is uncertain just how long Jesus will be out for following his operation under Dr Ramon Cugat but the Daily Mirror is of the belief that the 19-year-old will be back before season's end.

Jesus has his eye on the final Premier League match against Watford on May 21 which precedes the FA Cup final at Wembley six days later, provided City make it.

After spending time back home in Brazil and then in New York for commercial reasons, Jesus returned to Manchester on Thursday and is now ready to slowly get back into training despite the fact he is still donning a protective boot.
