The Ghana Football Association Executive Committee has endorsed the Match Review Panel’s recommendation to ban referee Nuhu Liman.
The Panel reviewed the video recording of the Asante Kotoko and Nea Salamina MTN FA Cup game which Referee Yakubu Nuhu Liman awarded a penalty to Kotoko.
According to the panel, the decision was wrong and by virtue of that their decision to prescribe that punishment for referee Nuhu.
Consequently, the Committee’s recommendation to ban Referee Yakubu Liman for the rest of the season has been upheld by the Executive Committee.
