Former Ghana international C.K Akonnor believes the partnership between Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the German Bundesliga will help enhance the quality of the Ghana Premier league (GPL).
The GPL in recent decade has faced numerous challenges especially with regards to attractiveness that will help secure sponsorship for the league and has subsequently affected clubs in their day to day running.
The Legendary Wolfsburg icon and Dreams FC trainer, believes that this partnership remains very crucial for the enhancement of the league in very difficult moments, as we have lot to learn from the operation of the Bundelisga.
“This partnership will help improve the quality of our game, raise the stature of the league and we’re most grateful to the GFA,” Akonnor said in an interview.
Meanwhile, the GFA is planning on sending a delegation to the Bundesliga mid 2017, in order to kick start the learning process.
