GFA Executive Committee member Leanier Addy is still an employee of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) amid reports that she has been sacked.

The suspended Ghana FA Executive Committee member remains at post with the national pension scheme.

Reports were rife that SSNIT had sacked Leanier Addy over her appearance in the investigative piece by ace journalist Anas Aremayaw Anas which sought to expose corruption in Ghana football.

She was captured receiving money alleged to be a bribe to influence her work as a Match Commissioner in an MTN FA Cup match between Hearts of Oak and Kotoku Royals played last year.

The football administrator was part of four Executive Committee members who currently stand suspended pending full investigations.

But according to reports, Leanier Addy was still at post with SSNIT amid reports she had been sacked.

She continues to discharge her duties as required at SSNIT while assisting the Ghana Police Service in the investigations with the aim of clearing her name.

Until the Anas exposé, Leanier Addy was the only woman on the powerful GFA Executive Committee and a member of the Local Organizing Committee for the hosting of the Africa Women’s Nations Cup to be hosted by Ghana later this year.
