Head coach of the female senior national football team, Yusif Basigi has tagged the Black Queens of Ghana to win the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Ghana.

According to the Hasacaas coach, if Ghana get’s the needed support just as the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon had, the queens will make the nation proud.

Ghana missed out on the finals of the 2016 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after suffering a narrow 1-0 loss to the host nation Cameroon and Ghana coach Basigi believes his opponents deserved it considering their level of preparation for the tournament.

“I have learnt a cue from this and I think if Ghana as we host the 2018 tournament, if we get the same support definitely we will win it.”

“I’m not surprised that they got to the finals because if it was me, I would have done all that I can it get there. Cameroon was more prepared than us and it did show in our game against them.” He said.

The Black Queens are expected to take on South Africa in the 3rd place play-off of the tournament currently taking place in Cameroon on Friday December 2.
