Ghana defender Kasim Nuhu earns applauds from Hoffenheim sporting chief Alexander Rosen

Hoffenheim director of football, Alexander Rosen has hailed new signing Kasim Nuhu as an 'extraordinary athlete'.

The Ghana international joined the German side on a five-year deal from Swiss outfit Young Boys.

The 23year old has distinguished himself with his robust style of play and good technique at the team's pr-season camp.

And the club's sporting chief Alexander Rosen has been left hugely impressed.

"His physique is enormous, he is an extraordinary athlete and a great footballer," says Alexander Rosen, who drove the Ghanaian to Hoffenheim.

Nuhu, who played for Ghanaian top-flight side Medeama,  joined the German outfit for a whopping transfer fee of  â‚¬8 million.

The German side will pay an additional â‚¬2 million depending on the number of appearances the powerful defender makes in his first season with Hoffenheim.
