Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi shows support for Sulley Muntari in racism fight

Ghana Football Association president Kwasi Nyantakyi has called Sulley Muntari to offer him his support after he walked off the pitch in a league game over racist chants.

Muntari was subsequently handed a one match ban by the Serie A disciplinary committee after his actions; a move that has upset many figures in world football.

According to the Ghana FA official twitter handle " Prez Nyantakyi & other officials have spoken directly to @MuntariOfficial since the racist incident in @SerieA_TIM to offer their support.

The GFA plans to moot a global proposal to FIFA to help curb racism in football.
