Ghana forward K.P Boateng excited by Germany return with Eintracht Frankfurt

New Eintracht Frankfurt signing Kevin Prince Boateng has revealed his excitement on his return to the German Bundesliga,

The Ghanaian returned to Germany after just a season in the Spanish La Liga with Las Palmas, where he emerged the club’s top scorer with ten goals.

But, Boateng terminated his contract with the La Liga side on Thursday citing personal reasons.

The former AC Milan attacker passed a medical on Friday and signed a three year deal with Frankfurt. The 30 year old expressed delight on returning to the Bundesliga.

“I missed Germany, and also playing in Bundesliga. It means a lot to me that Eintracht give me the opportunity to come home with my family,” he told the Club’s official website.

“ I am really looking forward to play in the German topflight again, it’s an exciting league. And I cannot wait to meet my new team mates, to wear the Eintracht jersey and to go out there and play.”

Boateng, 30, formerly played for Schalke, Dortmund and Hertha Berlin in Germany.

He also had stint in England where he played for Tottenham and Portsmouth.
