Ghana international Rashid Sumaila back in group training to allay injury fears

Ghana international Rashid Sumaila has returned to full training with Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade after he limped off in his side's 3-0 drubbing of Subotica on Sunday.

The 25-year-old was substituted in the second half after feeling a twitch in his left hamstring.

The tough-tackling defender underwent a medical checkup the day after to ascertain the severity of the knock, however, the doctors gave him a clean bill of health and told him he could rejoin his teammates in training.

After taking a day off he has returned to full-scale training to allay any injury fears.

He joined Red Star on loan from Al Qadsia in the ongoing transfer window and is already growing into being a key cog of the side.
