Ghana midfielder Joseph Baffo rejects contract extension at German side Eintracht Braunsweig

Ghanaian born Swedish International Joseph Baffo has rejected a contract extension at German Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunsweigh after returning from injury.

The 25 year old, who has been an integeral part of the club has struggled this season with injuries but when he is back he is of one of the club's top player.

However, after being presented with a contract extension, he rejected the deal insisting he was to be fully fit.

"We had a good discussion but now I just want to focus on getting fit as soon as possible. Then we can discuss how it will continue for me in the summer," Baffo told the Braunschweiger Zeitung.

The defender Joseph Baffo was ruled out for the rest of the season with an injury in November pulling a cruciate ligament tear during a league clash against VFL Bochum.
