Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso in line to make his Panathinaikos debut on Wednesday

Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso could make his debut for Panathinaikos after training with the team on Tuesday. Wakaso who joined the Greek side over the weekend met his teammates and trained with them for the first time since his move from Russian side Rubin Kazan.

Panathinaikos will play Turkish side Fenerbache on Wednesday in a friendly and the 25-year-old could play a part in that game.

The former Rayo Vallecano on loan player was brought in as a replacement for fellow Ghanaian Michael Essien.

Wakaso signed a three-year deal after passing a medical.
