Ghana Premier League: Aduana beat Medeama 1-0 in an outstanding game

Aduana Stars have denied Medeama SC the chance to move to second on the Ghana Premier League table after defeating them 1-0 at the Tarkwa T and A park in a premier game on Thursday. Aduana striker Yahaya Mohammed hit the only goal of the game in the 71st minute as they collected all three points. Mohammed’s goal sends him joint top with Liberty Professionals star Latif Blessing who also has 13 goals.

Medeama midfielder Kwesi Donsu had the opportunity to put his side ahead but failed to convert a penalty in the first half.

The CAF Confederation Cup campaigners travel to Techiman City on Sunday before rounding off their outstanding fixture at Wa All Stars next Wednesday.

Medeama have slipped to sixth on the table while Aduana have moved within two-points of leaders Hearts of Oak.
