Accra Great Olympics Coach, Tom Strand says the Ghana Premier League provides you with all the ingredients that makes the game exciting.

The Ghana Premier League has provided spectators and football lovers with lots of drama, talking points and controversies according to the Swedish.

Strand himself was appointed in controversial circumstances but that didn’t deter him from regrouping the Olympics team into a side capable of avoiding relegation.

His appointment led to the division of the team into two with former head coach Godwin Attram-who didn’t want to step down- leading half of the squad to training at a different location with Strand also leading the rest at another location.

However, the dust seemed to have settled and To Strand says moments like that make the league very interesting and exciting.

“Ghana Premier League is a very exciting league. There is always something happening. Something very dramatic or someone has done some good. The League itself is work. It makes people talk and gets them engaged and involved in the league. So I think that’s the purpose to get people talk about the beautiful game of football,” he said in an interview.

Tom Strand has lost just a game in the second round- it came against Tema Youth in Accra leaving the wonder 14th on the League table.

With the League on a week break, the wonder Club will host Liberty Professionals when the league resumes next weekend.
