Kumasi Asante Kotoko winless streak continues following a 2-1 defeat to New Edubiase at the Bekwai Park on Wednesday. Goals from Tawfik Mohammed and Abdul Nasir Lamin ensured Edubiase’s victory over the porcupine warriors.
Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong pulled one back from the spot but that wasn’t enough to help his side.
The victory makes it back to back wins for Edubiase over Kotoko in this seasons Ghana Premier League.
In Accra, Hearts Oak missed the chance to extend their lead on top of the summit as they drew 1-1 with defending Ghana Premier League champions AshantiGold.
Hearts took the lead just before half time through captain Robin Gnagne who stepped forward to effect a spot kick.
The lead did not last as AshGold produced an answer of their own with Anthony Yerful also converting from the spot to give the Miners their response.
The Phobians finished the game with 10-men after defender Inusah Musah was sent off.
The Point picked up means Hearts of Oak move to 39 having played 22 games but still maintain their first place position.

In Tema, Inter Allies won their game against Wa All Stars 2-0 with Dwarfs beating WAFA 1-0 at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast. In Bechem, Bechem United maintained their fine home form by beating Techiman City 2-0.
