The 2017 Ghana Premier League will take a week break after this weekend’s round of matches, while attention will be shifted to the 2016/17 MTN FA Cup preliminary round.
The 2016/17 knockout competition, which was launched on Thursday is scheduled to commence on March 22, 2017 as teams from the lower-tier leagues battle it out to secure a place in the second round of the preliminary stage.
The Ghana Premier League will take place in all the 8 league centres this weekend, before it takes a week's break.
Aduana Stars are still leading the pack with 17 points, same as second place team Asante Kotoko by goal difference after Match Day seven.
