Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena ready to “fire” for the Black Stars

Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena says he is ready to open his goal scoring account with the Black Stars if he get gets the opportunity to feature.

 

The Black Stars of Ghana will play the Walias of Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nation’s qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

 

Dwamena is part of the four strikers called up in Kwesi Appiah’s squad for the game.

 

The FC Zurich striker has been on form since joining the Swiss in January having scored 12 goals to help his club gain promotion into the Swiss topflight league.

 

” I’m a player who is also ready to fire so once given the chance to start on Sunday I will do my best to give the team nothing but a sweet victory therefore I entreat the fans to come to the stadium in their numbers to cheer us to victory,” he told sportsworldghana.com

 

The 21 year old is yet to feature for the senior national team after missing out of the team for the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon earlier in January.
