Ghana switch focus to Uganda for next month's World Cup qualifier

Ghana will begin their 2018 World Cup qualifiers campaign next month with a home game against Uganda.

Coach Avram Grant and his team must quickly switch their focus on the qualifiers following their games against Rwanda and Russia.

The recent bad vibe around the team following the impasse between the Youth and Sports Ministry and the Ghana Football Association for many could affect the team’s chances of qualifying.

But Grant and the players have noted that they are focused on getting Ghana a fourth World Cup appearance.

The game against Russia was the test match for the team ahead of World Cup qualifiers which starts in October.
