Ghana winger Albert Adomah's double earn Villa victory over QPR

Ghana winger Albert Adomah scored in each half as Aston Villa come from a goal down to beat QPR and consolidate their Championship play-off position.

Queens Park Rangers led when Villa goalkeeper Sam Johnstone failed to deal with a corner and Jamie Mackie poked in from a yard.

Alex Smithies denied Josh Onomah and Keinan Davis before Adomah netted from the spot after Jack Robinson handled.

The Ghana winger completed the comeback by firing in off the far post to move Steve Bruce's side up to fifth place.

Villa have won four times away in the league this season - as many as in 2016-17 - and triumphed from behind on the road for the first time since August 2013, when they won 3-1 at Arsenal.
