Ghana's World Cup opponent Congo have named their squad for their penultimate World Cup qualifier with Egypt next month.

Congo are already eliminated from the race for Russia after losing 5-1 at home to Ghana in their last qualifier, leaving them in last place with a single point from four matches.

A draw in that game will boost the chances of both Ghana and Uganda who will play in the other group qualifier the chance to qualify ahead of Egypt.

Congo will have to do without injured striker Fabrice Ondama for their penultimate World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Alexandria on Sunday, October 8.

The Club Africain striker is injured and misses out on a place in a 31-man squad named by coach for the Group E c lash.
