Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has joined Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg from Ghana Premier League side West Africa Football Academy.
The 19 year-old impressed on trials and signed for the club that has other Ghanaians players, Samuel Tetteh and David Atanga.
WAFA confirmed the transfer of the player on their Twitter handle stating,” CLUB STATEMENT:#wafasc have transferred midfielder Majeed Ashimeru to Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.We wish him all the best.”
The youngster has been impressive in the Ghana Premier League this season and has been one of the most creative gems in the country.
The player was a crucial member of the Black Stars team B and has also been a core member of the impressive WAFA team this season.
