Ghana and Leicester City defender, Daniel Amartey has applauded the club’s counter-attacking style of play continues to be their trump card.

The versatile player joined the Foxes during the January transfer window and believes the club are still a dangerous side after winning the Premiership last season.

Amartey played the entire minutes in their last victory over Swansea City.

"That’s our strength – the counter attack – and we have to focus on playing one-twos," Amartey told LCFC TV.

"[Jamie] Vardy has speed, so we have to give the ball to him."

Among the goal scorers for Leicester was captain Wes Morgan who has won over the Ghana international with his leadership style.

"Wes [Morgan] is strong and he got our second goal. It was a very good goal,"

"Morgan is very good when he’s in the dressing room. He talks to the guys and everybody listens to him because he’s the captain." he added.
