Ghanaian duo Teye Partey and Daniel Amartey face off in UEFA Champions League quarter finals stage

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Teye Partey’s side Atletico Madrid have been handed Daniel Amartey’s Leicester City in the UEFA Champions League quarter finals stage.

The Spanish Liga Santander side edged out German opponents Bayer Leverkusen side 4-2 on aggregate whiles Leicester City eliminated another Spanish side Sevilla 3-2 on aggregate to advance to the quarter finals stage of the competition.

Leicester's tie is a repeat of a Uefa Cup tie from the 1997-98 season, which Atletico won.

The Foxes will play as guests in the first leg at the iconic Vicente Calderon on 11 April before travelling away to on 18 April.
