Ghanaians will soon curse 'Number 12' video - Aduana Stars Operations Manager

Published on: 18 July 2018

George Gyawu, Operations Manager of Aduana Stars has vowed that Ghanaians will regret in no time for hailing Anas Aremeyaw Anas's 'Number 12' video.

The investigative piece by the controversial undercover journalist has thrown the football into serious crisis with no end in sight to the current stalemate.

Local football has halted after an Accra High Court granted an interlocutory injunction on the activities of the FA.

Aduana Stars take on Congolese giants AS Vita in a CAF Confederation group match today ( Wednesday) at home amid fears lack of activities could come to haunt them in their quest to qualify to the knockout stage.

And according to Mr Gyawu, Ghanaians will curse the investigative piece in the shortest possible time.

'I can tell you that those who have clamoured for the dissolution of football will turn against #12 in no time,' he told Asempa FM.

'Mark my words and mark today; they will curse the investigative piece for destroying our game.

'In the days ahead the chicken will come home to roost.

'Mark it; they will regret hailing this documentary which has destroyed the game.'

Much of the investigation centred on referees freely accepting gifts of money, with scenes of officials taking cash before multiple domestic Ghanaian and international games.
