WAFA midfielder, Gideon Waja, has rejected a transfer to Kumasi Asante Kotoko after talks between both sides collapsed.
Information gathered indicates that, WAFA officials were impressed with Kotoko’s bid for the player and have asked them to up it.
The 19-year-old midfielder is expected to undergo a trial this weekend with an unnamed South African Premier League side.
The versatile midfielder, had a fruitful season in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League and has been on the radar of numerous clubs, both domestic and foreign, who are keen on acquiring his services.
