Ghanaian female player Gifty Ayew Asare has been adjudged as the best offensive player in the North Oklahoma College Banquet for the second time.
Gifty Ayew scored 27 times in 19 games in the National Junior College Athletics Association Soccer League Championship.
“Heartily for me, I made a remarkable mark last season on arriving from Ghana(Blessed Ladies), but hope to work my fingers to the bone and endeavour to do better” – Ayew was quoted by Ghanaian Times on May 2017 and has surely lived up to the bill after adding more goals in lesser games.
She was also snapped into the Best American 3rd Team Honour.
Gifty Ayew Asare was first called up to the national Under-17 side, Black Maidens, in 2014, but could not make the final cut to represent Ghana at the Costa Rica FIFA World Cup tournament and was recently called up for Ghana’s friendly encounter against France November 2017.
