Godwin Ablordey warns his players not to be complacent ahead of Hearts clash

Asante Kotoko assistant coach Godwin Ablordey says his players must not be complacent if they are to win their game against Hearts of Oak.

Hearts and Kotoko will meet on Sunday at the Accra Stadium in a match day 8 fixture.

Kotoko have endured a fine start to the season as they are the only team yet to taste defeat.

This for many of their followers is a clear indication that they will maul Hearts for all three points.

But Ablordey wants both followers and players of the club to guard against complacency.

“For me, we won our last game and Hearts of Oak lost but, per the experience I have, I’ll tell the players that they shouldn’t be swollen headed."

“Hearts of Oak will come into the game aggressively to get the maximum three points at their home grounds. I’ll tell the players to relax and play their normal game."

“We shouldn’t be swollen headed that they lost so we are going to walk over them but rather, we need to remain positive,” he said.
