Management member of Accra Great Olympics, Fred Pappoe is pleased with the club’s 0-0 draw at Sogakope against West Africa Football Academy.

The relegation threatened club is fighting for survival and a defeat could have spelt doomed for the wonder boys.

However, Coach Godwin Attram’s side are one of the very few side to pick a point in Sogakope, which has become a fortress for the Academy Boys.

Fred Pappoe, who is persistent on making sure the club, avoids relegation was satisfied with their performance in Sogakope.

“I was okay with the draw though I had wanted to beat WAFA and grab all the three maximum points at stake,” Pappoe said in a post-match interview.

“We came home with a point which is not a mean achievement because any club which comes here loses. Before the game, we told the boys to go and play their hearts out and they also listened and did that.”

“We are going to kill ourselves in the remaining matches to survive in the league just like the way we killed ourselves today,” he added.

Accra Great Olympics lie 15th on the table with 27 points.

With four games to go the Accra Based club would have to win all to ensure survival starting from relegated Bolga All stars in match day 27.
