Accra Great Olympics defender Dan Quaye has returned to training ahead of the resumption of the Ghana Premier League.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak star was out following an injury he sustained but has now returned from the setback.

Dan Quaye’s absence has affected the club that has struggled to move away from the relegation zone, however his return will be a massive boost for the Accra-based side.

He told Ghana sports online, “I have resumed training with Olympics, I was out for a month.”

“But everyone will see me so, I am ok now and ready to play.”

The 36 year old has been with the club since he returned from abroad, and has seen it all with them through thick and thin.

Meanwhile, Dan Quaye’s first game following his absence will be against former club Accra Hearts of Oak.

Coach Tom Strand and his players will count on the experience of Dan Quaye to help them avoid relegation.
