Hazard and Bakayoko return in Chelsea friendly against QPR

Published on: 17 August 2017

Chelsea have been handed a huge boost with Eden Hazard and Tiemoue Bakayoko having returned to playing matches, after both took part in a friendly against Queens Park Rangers on Thursday.

Hazard has been out since July after sustaining an ankle injury while training with Belgium.

Bakayoko, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from Monaco this summer, has been sidelined after undergoing minor knee surgery at the end of last season.

The Blues won the match 8-0, with Hazard amongst the scorers.

However, it is unlikely either will be included in Sunday's clash with Tottenham at Wembley.
