Hazard, Courtois return to Chelsea training

Chelsea have received a boost ahead of the weekend's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

The league leaders saw Belgian duo Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois return to training on Thursday following recent injury problems.

Playmaker Hazard missed Belgium's two internationals over the past week after sustaining a calf issue against Stoke City prior while goalkeeper Courtois was unavailable for his country's friendly with Russia on Tuesday after picking up a hip injury in the weekend's World Cup qualifier with Greece.

However, the star pair joined Antonio Conte's squad for full training at Cobham and are expected to be considered for Saturday's Stamford Bridge meeting with Palace.

Chelsea then meet third-placed Manchester City on Wednesday as they look to tie up the Premier League title as quickly as possible.
