Accra Hearts of Oak board member Alhaji Ankabi says the club will not struggle despite the exodus of their key players.

Hearts have lost four of their key players after failed contract renewal negotiations.

Many feel losing their key players will affect the progress of the club.

But Alhaji Ankabi holds a different view.

“Hearts is still Hearts of Oak and it will still remain Hearts of oak, no player is bigger than Hearts of oak , we must know that.” Akanbi told Metro FM in Kumasi

“Some of our own supporters hide behind the scenes and tell the players to leave the club , and this same people will come out and criticize the management of the club for incompetency.”

Hearts have lost Vincent Atingah and Thomas Abbey, Kwame Kizito, Fatawu Mohammed and Winful Cobbina are on their way out of the team.
