Hearts boss Frank Nelson insists FA Charge not a big deal

Published on: 12 June 2017

Management member of Accra Hearts of Oak Frank Nelson has eased the tension amongst fans of the club over charges leveled against the club for misconduct.

Accra Hearts of Oak were charged for awarding a player of the match with phones from their new sponsors Fero Mobile while the Football Association also had its NASCO player of match award given at the same time.

According to the FA, the charge was in view of breaches of Article 82 (1) and 82 (4).

However, Mr. Frank Nelson has told fans of the club they will find a way of solving the issues.

“I don’t think this is a big deal. We [Hearts of Oak] have been charged by the association we belong to. I think this is an internal affair. The only thing left for us to look at it and see if there is anywhere we have breached the regulation or status,” Frank told Ultimate FM.

“If we feel that has been done, we can withdraw and as quickly as possible renegotiate with our sponsors and find a way to remedy the situation,” he added.
