Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nuttall has hailed the performance of his players in the 2-1 win over Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League match day 28.

Hearts of Oak beat the Cape-Coast based Club in Accra to return to winning ways, with midfielder Winful Cobinna and defender Joshua Otoo scoring for the Phobians.

Joseph Esso scored Dwarfs' only goal in the game.

Meanwhile, the Scottish trainer of Accra Hearts of Oak was impressed with performance of his players indicating the victory was a hard earned one looking at the travels within the week.

Hearts had been in Obuasi to play Wa All Stars in the FA Cup semifinal before travelling to Wa for the Ghana Premier League match day 27 and back to Accra.

“It was always going to be a tough game because it was the third of three games in eight days with an extensive amount of travelling from Obuasi where we played in semifinal of the FA Cup, and then to Wa in game which was very tight, and then to come back to Accra.

“We started really well, great attitude by the players, they showed incredible spirit and desire for the football club and they did that at the end of a very hard week.

“The Dwarfs team we played, was better than the one who played at the start of season having drew with them in Cape Coast and recording a 2-1 win here in Accra, so it’s very pleasing,” Nuttall said in post-match interview.

The Phobians are out of contention for the Premier League after Aduana beat Bolga All Stars over the weekend but a wins in the last two games could push them to a second place finish.

Hearts will next face Inter Allies in the match day 29.
