Hearts coach Frank Nuttall backs striker Cosmos Dauda to hit top form

Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nuttall, says he will keep supporting Cosmos Dauda amid pressure from the club’s supporting arm wing.

The 23 year-old striker has  scored just one goal in the 12 week-old Ghana Premier League season leaving him at the mercy of fans but his coach is upbeat.

According to the Scottish trainer, Cosmos remains his first choice striker and will continue to render unflinching support for the player. “People look at Cosmos Dauda with only one eye open or may be they have a slanted opinion of the player, but this was the top scorer for the club last year.

“This a guy who works physically very hard so I will continue to support him but he knows like everyone else about how they need to keep working hard to stay in the team.

“We have got guys who can come off the bench and are really trying as well and I’ve got others who unable to on but are ready to play’,” Nuttall said.
