Accra Hearts of Oak shot stopper Abdoulaye Soulama was named man-of-the-match in the Phobians 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in match-day 20 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.
Kwame Kizito scored the only goal of the game in the 78th minute but Soulama's heroics in between the sticks won him the MOTM award.
The Burkinabe goalkeeper produced two outstanding saves in the early minutes of the game to deny Saddick Adams and Abedi Karim who had followed a rebound of the former's free kick.
He was on hand once again to deny the visitors in the second half before Hearts got the much needed winner. But his biggest save came in the 84th minute when he used his foot to claw out Adams goal bound strike. The save was the only thing that stood between Chelsea earning a point back to Berekum. Soulama was also named the Club’s star performer of the week by fans
