Hearts of Oak’s first position excites Yaw Preko

Assistant coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Yaw Preko has revealed his side will go on to win the Ghana Premier League after jumping to top spot after week 19. The Phobians broke Hasaacas four games unbeaten run at home with a 1-0 win thanks to a Cosmos Dauda goal on Sunday and currently sit top of the league table with 34 points ahead of Kotoko and Wa All Stars who both have 32 points. Speaking to the press after their narrow win at the Essipong Sports Stadium on Sunday the deputy trainer said. “We are going to enjoy our first position. Is been a long time we have been on top of the league and the top keeps on changing.” he said. He also indicated they will take it match after match as they bid to win the Ghana Premier League they last won in the 2008/2009 season
