Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has confirmed his outfit has signed former Kotoko goalie Ernest Sowah.
The 30-year-old shot-stopper was released by Asante Kotoko ahead of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season.
Sowah was chased by Ashgold and Aduana Stars for his signature but have joined the Accra based club.
"We are happy to announce the capture of Ernest Sowah and we believe his inclusion is a plus to us.
“There are more in the pipeline, so the supporters should exercise patience"
However, the representative of Ernest Sowah, Nana Oduro Sarfo in an interview with Oyerepa FM confirmed that the player costs the former Premier League champions around the region of ¢40,000.
"Ernest Sowah has signed for Hearts of Oak for 2 and half years in the region of ¢40,000.
"I have sent a message to Fred Achie of Ashgold and Nana Agyemang Badu to apologise to them for not giving them Ernst Sowah because our discussions had gone far but that of Hearts was preferred,” he added.
