Hearts of Oak is the best club I have ever coached - Kenichi Yatsuhashi

Head coach of Aduana Stars, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has reiterated that Accra Hearts of Oak is the best club he has ever coached in his coaching career.

Kenichi Yatsuhashi, following his controversial appointment as the coach of Hearts of Oak in the 2012/13 season as the first Japanese to handle a Ghanaian side, defied the odds to weave his way into the hearts of Phobians with his touchline antics and post-match rhetorics.

After his impressive records at the club, the Japanese trainer left the club to join Ifeanyi Uba in Nigeria before returning to Ghana to coach Inter Allies.

Aduana Stars are the third Ghanaian side Kenichi is handling but he believes no club inches closer to Hearts of Oak considering the clubs he’s managed.

“I have coached three Ghanaian clubs now and I can say none of the clubs come near Accra Hearts of Oak,” he told 442gh.com.

Even though Kenichi has not opened the lip on whether he will accept a reunion with Hearts of Oak, many believe the Japanese will relish a return to the Phobians.
