Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak thrash lower tier side Madina Republicans 4-1 in a preseason friendly at the club's training base in Legon.
Accra Hearts of Oak were ruthless in front of goal, with Osmanu Sackey grabbing a brace whiles Ezekiel Tetteh and Malik Akowuah scored the others.
The team is preparing ahead of the Ghana Premier League season, whose date is yet to be specified after the injunction placed on the league was thrown out of court by an Accra High Court.
Hearts have augmented their squad with the signing of new players Joseph Esso and Christopher Bonney. The club has also extended the contract of Fatawu Mohammed.
Following a disappointing campaign last season, where the club finished third and were runners up in the FA Cup, the Phobians have intensified preparations for the next campaign.
