Hearts of Oak are close to offering midfielder Ollenu Ashitey a contract extension at the club.
Ashittey who came alive during the second round of last season's league is currently not with the team following the expiration of his contract.
The Phobians are reported to be interested in his services ahead of the start of the new Ghana Premier League season.
“Hearts has started negations with Olenu Ashitey which we are hoping to reach consensus so that he renews his contract before the league starts on the December 18,” said Hearts spokesperson Opare Addo
