Hearts player Leonard Tawiah emerges as the first player to receive a red card this season for the club

Accra Hearts of Oak player Leonard Tawiah was sent off in their 5-0 defeat to WAFA at the Sogakope Park.

Tawiah therefore becomes the first Hearts of Oak player to receive a red card this season.

The Phobians were whitewashed 5-0 by WAFA at the Sogakope Park..

During the game, Tawiah went into the referee’s books in the first half after he fouled Majeed Ashiremu.

After WAFA’s fifth goal, the tall lanky middleman received his second yellow after a nasty tackle on Richmond Lamptey.

The former Aduana Stars midfielder will miss the Phobians’ next Premier League game against Bolga All Stars.
