Hearts Striker Cosmos Dauda happy with competition in the team

Accra Hearts of Oak striker Cosmos Dauda has revealed that the competition in the team has brought the best out of the club.

 

Accra Hearts of Oak advanced to the round of 16 of the MTN FA cup after thrashing second tier side Kotoku Royals 4-0.

 

Cosmos Dauda scored in the 72nd minute to make it 3-0 for the phobians before had another goal disallowed.

 

The striker said after the game, ”It was a good game at least I found myself on the score sheet and that’s important. I am happy I was on the score sheet and it’s good for me as a player,”

 

“I was disappointed when the goal was disallowed. I think sometimes you have to let an advantage play for the team in possession but all the same the penalty ended in the post.”

 

The striker has had to fight had to get in the starting line up with competitions from Alex Kouassi, Kwame Kizito and Sam Yeboah.

 

“It’s a quality we have which shows a sign of a good team. I think we are enjoying the competition and it keeps us on our toes.”

 

Cosmos Dauda has now scored four times for the phobians this season after ending up the club’s top scorer last season.
