Accra Hearts of Oak are eager to sign Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Amartey as a possible replacement for Leonard Tawiah.

Leonard Tawiah's contract with the Phobians has expired and reports indicates the hard tackling midfielder is unwilling to extend his stay with the club.

Emmanuel Amartey helped Accra Great Olympics gain promotion back to the Premiership two seasons ago but his efforts were not enough as the wonder club return to the Division One.

Despite a difficult season for the White and Blues, Amartey was one of the stars of the side, winning a couple of man of the match awards.

His efforts have been recognised by several clubs, and information reaching footballghana.com indicates Hearts are ready to snap the Olympics midfielder to their fold.

Emmanuel, brother of Leicester City Star Daniel Amartey is also an interest for newly promoted side Karela SC.
