Accra Hearts of Oak winger, Isaac Mensah is set for a move to Egyptian side Al Ittihad.

The diminutive player has struggled to break into the Hearts team this season due to injuries but has been a subject of transfer to several clubs.

According to reports, Al Ittihad want the player on loan for the season. However the phobians are yet to accept the proposition.

Mensah, was the toast of fans during Japanese trainer Keinechi Yatuhashi’s time as he form a midfield trio with teammates Patrick Razak and Samudeen Ibrahim.

Earlier in the season Ashantigold FC enquired about his availability but were turned down by the Accra based club who had the player in their plans.

However, competition for a place in the team with the likes of Captain Thomas Abbey and Winful Cobinnah has limited the player’s involvement with the club this season.

The 22 year old was promoted to the senior team three seasons ago by former Coach David Duncan.
