Huddersfield Town are moving for Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.
Subotic is available from BVB and has been in talks with St Etienne for several days.
However, BILD says the Terriers are in contact and ready to bring the defender to England this month.
Subotic has an ambition to play in England, having missed out on a move to Middlesbrough 18 months ago after a failed medical.
BVB aren't expected to stand in the 29 year-old's way should Huddersfield firm up his interest.
