‪Inter Allies FC is excited to announce that Nigerian midfielder Afeez Aremu Olalekan has joined Norwegian side IK Start on a permanent deal.‬

‪The midfielder joins the Norwegian elite side on a three-year contract and their Sporting leader Tor-Kristian Karlsen, is pleased to have secured the great talent from Nigeria.‬

‪”We (IK Start) are delighted that Afeez Aremu is finally ready for Start. The player was first noted by Mick Priest during the WAFU championship this fall and since then he has also been involved in the A national team to Nigeria in the World Cup qualifier.”‬

‪“We hope this young man can be a solid boost in the midfield. Afeez is very ‘European’ in the game style.”‬

‪“As an essentially defensive midfielder, he makes things easy, looks at solutions early and rarely stresses the ball. In addition, he works hard and is a loyal team player.”‬

‪In Start, he follows the footsteps of countrymen such as Evans Valdo Nyabaro, Bala Garba and Solomon Owello who all played more season for the club, as well as Abubakar Ibrahim in today’s Start stall.‬

‪- It’s a dream to get to Start. I have never been to Europe before. Now I look forward to getting started, “says Aremu.‬
