Inter Allies striker Ropapa Mensah happy to have scored against Hearts of Oak

Inter-Allies striker Ropapa Mensah is delighted to have found the back of the net in their 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak in the Match Day 26 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.

Ropapa returned to the starting lineup and made an instant impact by getting a goal against the Phobians at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The striker shot his side into the lead on the stroke of half time before defender Inusah Musah got the equalizer for the home team.

“BACK ON THE SCORE SHEET ONCE AGAIN, the feeling was great to score against a big club like Hearts of Oak.”

“It was a good game, we played well and we deserved to win but we'll take the draw in good fate.

“Thanks y'all for your prayers, it worked.” Ropapa posted this on his official Facebook page.

Inter-Allies are still fighting to get out of the relegation zone after the draw against Hearts of Oak with four matches to end the season.

The Tema based club are with 28 points at the 15th position and will now play New Edubiase at the Tema Sports Stadium in the Match Day 27 fixture.
