Interim Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Henry Wellington has described the preseason friendly game against Swedru All Blacks as a "good test match" for his side.

The Ghanaian giants traveled to Swedru to play the lower tier side in a friendly, which ended with the former premier league champions winning 1-0, courtesy a Fatau Mohammed goal.

The game which drew large crowds, was fiercely contested for and Coach Henry Wellington admitted he was happy with the level of performance of his team.

"It was a very good test match for us," he said after the game. 'Since we began our preseason preparations, we never played an away match therefore today's game has given some of the new players a feel of what it takes to play away from home," he added.

"And you know, there are some new players we are still trying, so far so good and both sides they very well."

Coach Henry Wellington was assistant to sacked manager, Frank Nuttal, who led the team to third place finish last season and reaching the FA Cup finals.

With the sacking of Frank Nuttal, Coach Wellington revealed he is not perturbed by his former boss' sack.

"There is no challenge with Nuttal sacking. Although a lot of players have left and if they were there, there would have not been massive trials but even though they left we are working on getting good replacement."

The new Ghana Premier League's start is still uncertain but the capital based club are vigorously preparing for the new season.
