Italian giants A S Roma and Inter Milan in race for Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan

Italian giants A. S Roma and Inter Milan are set to battle it out for the signature of Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan, who is also closely monitored by Fiorentina.

The Sassuolo midfielder has been in top form and was nearly snapped by Torino but the team could not match the asking price.

Several clubs wanted the former Inter player, including English Premier League side Tottenham in the summer. However, Duncan is a key member of the Sasuolo team, hence the reluctance of the club to let him leave.

The 24 year old is regarded as one of the technical gifted midfielder in Italy with the ability to switch with systems with ease.

The Ghanaian left Inter in 2013 to gain more play time elsewhere, and has enjoyed a meteoric rise in his times with Livorno and Sampdoria.
